Derick G is a Miami-born visionary, widely known for his trailblazing work in photography, visual storytelling, and brand development. Born in the early 1980s and raised by a single mother with a deep passion for arts and crafts, Derick’s creative roots were planted early. With her encouragement, he explored both traditional art and car culture, eventually falling in love with the expressive world of lowriders—a perfect collision of craftsmanship, design, and identity.

His fascination with capturing the journey led him to pick up a camera, unknowingly documenting the very path that would define his future. What started as a personal habit evolved into a powerful visual career—one that would take him across the globe and into the rooms of music legends, sports icons, and top-tier global brands.

Derick has photographed some of the biggest names of his generation, including LeBron James, Lil Wayne, Drake, and DJ Khaled, to name a few. His creative lens has also attracted corporate collaborations with Nike, Jordan Brand, Beats by Dre, and countless others, earning him recognition as one of the most sought-after image makers of his time.

But Derick's artistic expression doesn’t stop behind the lens. He’s expanded into mural painting, giant wheat-paste photography prints, and large-scale visual installations—proving that creativity, for him, is without boundaries.

Today, Derick G calls himself a Creative Engineer—a title that reflects his multi-dimensional approach to artistry. Beyond photography, he’s emerged as a force in marketing, event production, and brand building, working closely with startups, fashion lines, and legacy brands to craft experiences that resonate. With a strong foundation in visual storytelling, Derick is currently building his own creative agency, where brands and artists can collaborate directly with him to develop bold campaigns and breakthrough ideas.
